The ATQ post, FINALLY...
Yah yah, people, i'm back from Amritsar, hee... sorry i took so long to post this post, heee... getting lazy already i guess. Anyway if u all were to visit my facebook u would have noticed the pictures were up already.
Eh... Seriously can i just blog in point form? hahaa...
Anyway despite the 2 clear days there i didn't do much sightseeing. First day was wasted on some talks of buying car, IFS wanted to downgrade his car, haha... But even after all the lengthy discussion, the matter still remains inconclusive, even till we set foot on singapore soil. ha... can a man be anymore indecisive?
And did i not hear wrongly? Speaks of downgrade caming from a person who earned the most among us. haha... seems like this isn't a good job anymore, times have progressed but the money hasn't. Only the ignorant fails to see.
A comment was made while i was disembarking the plane, "what's the use of being a graduate if non of u can speak proper english?" Which i replied, "it's only a choice whether to or not, armed with the skill doesn't mean u have to use it, not using it doesn't mean u don't know how to use it."
Besides, being better quilified than u allows me more choices than having to decive myself to be contended with the meager choices i have.

Back to the Amritsar trip.
The journey began at 4:30pm towards the wahga border. The border that seperates Pakistan and India. Look at the chaotic traffic.

Horse drawn cart shares the road.

The clutter of road side stores.

Paddy fields along the side of the road.

As we approched the border, cargo lorry piles the side of the road.

The Pakistan Boader on the other side.

Wah... the India side of the boader looks like national day man!

While the Pakistan side looks empty. haha...

The start of the ceremony

This is damn funny, see how they "Ser-di-ya" haha...

The gates opened!

Taunting the pakistan border.

The flag lowering ceremony.

Carrying the flag back.

Why they always do that? The mob. haha...

The Indian Guard. it's a freaking hot day, look at my sweat.

As we walk back our side of our border.

The night drive to the golden temple. The night market beside the road.

Passing thru the Gandhi Gate.

This Picture looks so "national geographic". haha... I always wanted to be a nat geo photographer.

We arrive at the Golden temple.

The mass production of temple food.

Recieving our plates for meals.

Having our meals on the floor, mass communal dinner.

The dinner, a mix of sweeten porriage, charpathi and... i dunnoe what is that green stuff. hahaa...

That's about it for this post. heee... glad someone's feeling better already. But still, better take good care ah, see u real soon again. :p
