My Nanking Trip Sucks!
i seriously can't believe this, we touched down into a tropical storm. Torrential rain for the freaking past 5 days. We didn't know that till the handing over set told us about it. Well, so much for not checking the weather before the trip. OMG... Sightseeing plans shelved, DSLR goes back into the camera bag once again. Dunnoe when shall my next Nanking be rostered. What a wasted trip.

Just my luck, actually this freaky weather was a result of the monsoon in the tropics. In hindsight, i've forgotten August was monsoon season, should have remembered something was still looming around in the region. Anyhow, weather cleared in the late morning today, but the sky was still gloomy, not exactly fabulous for photo taking.

Well, looks like fortune has smiled upon the next incoming set, clear skies were predicted for their stay. But even so, the sun dun seem to be able to shine through the thick loom of haze. Nevertheless, still lucky them. At least they dun have to walk the streets in water logged shoes and soggy feets. haha...

Anyway not all's lost, i still get to do my 2 days of continuous massage. At RMB99 for 2 hours it's a steal. DVD hunting wise wasn't very fruitful though, the coming beijing 2008 olympics has the chinese authourity enforcing their otherwise lax ban on pirated DVDs, forcing operation underground. They no longer sell them in shops brazenly but rather in plastic cart boxes in dark alleys.
Haha... We actually walk a 3 block radus around the hotel looking of DVDs and found non, only till nightfall did they come out. Shocking isn't it, no DVDs in DVD land. Often u dun have to walk far.
Anyway flight's back tomolo morning, seriously i can't wait. Looking forward to something better back home.
Some pictures from the streets of Nanking, didn't travel out much though...
Funny Tree with advertisment stamp on it.

Dedicated Bicycle Lane.

Bicycles waiting at the traffic light.

LV in the middle of all things depreciated.

In the middle of town.
