Exhaustion!
Oh man, this is not what going on leave should be like. Got back camp last tuesday night (27 nov) for COS duty the next day. Went to bed around 1am after unpacking my stuff and basically the night passed without any event till 6plus am when Cai Wei Jian woke me up to inform me 4 coy T-Loan 3 of our 84's for Stage 1 ATEC Training. Their bloody T-Loan voucher is not sign, how the hell are we gonna T-Loan to them, but since BG says can so can lor. Anything just push the blame to BG. haha...

Anyway i really cannot stand this Cai Wei Jian. Fuck leh, i was suppose to take over from him at 8am, he fucking go lay on the bed beside me waiting, so at the point the clock strike 8, he ask me to take over, so scared i'll cheat him of a few mins. Really bastard! in the morning COS has plenty to do, but he actually could just camp around beside me so as to hand over to me 8am on the dot! Fucking parade state & norminal roll never photocopy, ask me to photocopy. never even pack the office & fucking lot of things left half done, not signed & not settled! All becoz he wanna skip IPPT. If that was the case, all he had to do was just not to submit his name. It's more like he just wanna go home, can't be bothered with his duty! Anyone take over Cai Wei Jian For duty is plan "suay". Most of the time he'll just fucked up everything & hand it to the next COS. Plain Lazy & plan can't-be-bothered! Anyway his freaking parade state is wrong lor, can't even be bothered to go find out who's post out, who's attached out, who's around, who's not. In Norman Hiah's words, Cai Wei Jian is dumb & scheming. how that possibly come together beats me.

Had a bloody busy day on wednesday as COS. 1st got to clean up the bloody office, print cai wei jian's parade state, check up on everyone, who's still in the company who's not & prepare a new parade state with updated company strength & posting, settle the armskote for closing & answering loads of phone call and blah blah blah... Sounds like nothing to do, like Foo Ji Kun Said, but trust me, there's plenty to do if u really carry out your duty. A bit here & there enough to fill your day. Those COSes that can say COS got nothing to do & can still watch video in the Rec Room ought to get shot! Coz they fucking never do anything, work just get piled up down to the next in line.

Anyway for those of u wanted to know why u all still have to do area cleaning after our IMT and why so many of your leaves have been disapproved (except for keng hwee, u lucky bastard), was becoz BG came back on wed night, said the place was very untidy, the bunks not cleaned, toilet not cleaned, corridor not cleaned rec room not cleaned & office not cleaned, which i nearly wanna to fucked him, coz i clean up the mess in the office in the morning, the office has never been cleaner! Then he went over to the Leave Approval Board & start striking out names. Felt so sorry for u guys & leonard yip u wrote go "pa tor" (translate: dating) in "ya long" (translate: gaylang) in chinese on the board! u crazy ah? u think BG not around liao ah? Anyway he ask me what it says i pretend i can't read chinese. Yes Yes... i know my chinese is poor but not as poor as BG. i still can read. Thank god BG can't or we'll all see each other in hell already!

Well anyway i said to him if we don't clear our leave now, we'll never get a chance to, this year's leave we didn't even manage to clear finish. He just brushed it off & said, "Where got not enough time? March is for u all to clear your leave!" u heard that ah Foo Ji Kun, when march come dun expect us to do guard duty! coz in BG words, "March is for u all to clear your leave..." Should have used a voice recorder to record it down! Honestly, i doubt we'll get to clear our leave.

Norman Hiah was nice to come in early the next day to take over from me. I'm also not such a "chee bye" to just leave after that. i still got go S1 branch to photocopy the parade state & norminal roll & delivered them to S1 & cookhouse, also pick up the newspaper as well. Anyway all the COSes down the line & Clerks gonna thank me for this already! As of 29 Dec 2005, the parade state & movement chart are accurate! so just do minor adjustments like add on or remove people can already! Some more i cleaned & packed up the office, like that can don't clean for quite some time already! All in a day's work!
IMT shoot at Nee Soon Camp was quick, bus ride from our camp to there only too 30mins. the shoot was even quicker, no briefing, i went in shoot 15mins, everyone hit their target, 100% scores. 4 details & we're back in camp within 3 hours plus including some delays. It's very fast considered the fact anything SAF would take half a day for a simple task & a full day for a normal task. U dun wanna know about complex task.

But the most chee bye thing was having to go back to do area cleaning, fuck!! come back camp do area cleaning while on leave. We got to be crazy or something, anyway BG said if not up to his standard we'll have to come back on friday! haha... FUCK U!
Anyway our nice stand-in CSM foo ji kun, still let us off although i felt the place was resonably clean & tidy only, but not bad for a bunch of people on leave coming back to clean up the place. They dun distroy the place good enough already! In the end, job done & all were happy & bookout at 6pm!

Went to play lan with Leonard, Gabba Loi, Danny, Witono & a bunch of guys. 10 people actually! It's been like 1 & half year since i touch LAN Games, haha... so forgive me ah Foo Ji Kun & ah Neo for not joining u all for dinner. hee hee... Still managed to earn my keeps in Battlefield2, but kanna pawned dunnoe like 30 time the whole night in DOTA. Fuck... haha... i'm still better at building units. We finished by 11pm, i went home by cab & now i'm dead broke. Still got to go countdown New Year with Floris & gang, hai... no money liao, so no clubbing for me. haha... Sorry chin chun, can't join u for manbo jumbo party at expo. if i go i buy the ticket i no money for drinks liao. haha... u all enjoy yourselves bah!

*Aughhhh...*
OMG it's 27th already, time always fly so fast every holiday. They just seem to be eager to make me start work. Anyway the past few days wasn't without any fulfillment; christmas eve i've met up with Jiahui, jack, but most importantly CS, DeWei, Floris & Desmund. It has been 3 months since i last met up with them at Brewerks. Went to the zoo this time, think i need not elaborate any further since i post the outing on my last blog posting.

On Christmas Night met up with the karen & dewei, jiahui & jack couldn't make it coz jiahui got a cousin wedding to attend to I think. Anyway who gets married on christmas? U would combine 2 celebrations into one. One celebration less means 1 less party to go to! where's the fun in that? haha... well... on the bright side they could save money on the anniversary, christmas & anniversary combine!

SO... in the end, the 3 of us went to "roof" at Odeon Tower (click & look at map if u dunnoe how to get there) to chill out, Er... it's actually spelt "roof" with an inverted "r", but how the hell u type an inverted "r" here? Alt ?
oh forget it, anyway met up at city hall around 9:15, haha... actually it was 9pm, i was late. haha... sorry guys, but at least i bought presents to make up for it! haha... hope u both like the calander cubes! Got 2 functions, 1: it tells u the date, 2: u can use it for stress relieve preventing u from punching up your boss! muahahaha...
Dewei bought the tickets for the 12:20 midnight "Narnia" at suntec city, all the other place only left 1st 3 rows. If u do not want to get a stiff neck, i advice u toavoid those.

Odeon Tower is a short walk away, about slightly less than 150m north of Raffles City. roof is on the 3rd story of Odeon Tower, an outdoor open air, rooftop concept. Haha... anyway dunnoe what theme was it last night, there were plenty of banana hanging around, on the trees, at the bar counter, on our tables, at the glass door enterance... We ordered us some drinks & a pizza, er... the pizza was actually for me, i haven't had my dinner yet, ha ha... so much for a christmas dinner. But i got to say the drink was rather ex! In fact, i it was very Ex!! Magaritta going at $15, S'pore Sling at $18 & WTF... Long Island also at $18! ha ha... so u see, next time if u have no where to go, like to try out a new place with plenty of cash to throw. haha... this is one of the right places to go!
But at least the service was good there, although not really prompt, the friendliness & attention of the staff more than make up for it. Surprisingly the owner of the joint were sitting next table beside us with his group of friends.

3 of us chatted till 11plus before we decided to leave, that's quite a long chat, but i dunnoe about Dewei but it has been a very long time since i saw karen, i think it was chinese new year. We finish up our drink, head to a nearby mac, had some supper & continue our way to suntec city for NARNIA. ha ha... we made it on time!

Anyway NARNIA was a great show, think i would watch it one more time. haha... This is one of the movies so far within this year i'm not dissappointed with! Most of the movie thought to be "movie events of the year" in the end only ends up as dissappointment. U come out of the cinema thinking to yourself... "WHAt THe FUck WAs THat?" haha... Thank God NARNIA saved my christmas night! haha...

In the end, all were happy, Dewei rode his bike home, while me & Karen shared a cab.
Wasn't so tired this time, managed to get a shower before doing freefall on my bed. A pleasent way to end the night...

YAY!! MeRRy ChRisTmAs!!

Few Months Back i thot i would never see this day! haha... A significant marking point in my 2yr 4 mths NS life. Signifies 3 more months to ORD LOH!! haha... New Year, Chinese NEw Year, then... haha... need i elaborate any further? haha...

Anyway had a busy day yesterday, equivalent to a day in ATEC. Damn... got plenty of shopping to do, all thanks to the christmas celebration in camp on the 24th. Cursing & swearing dun do any good here so got down to some serious shopping. Time limit: 6hrs. Meeting Jiahui, Jack, De Wei, Desmund, Floris & CS in the evening. Decided to head down to Suntec City since i thot it would be less crowded as most people would head down to orchard, secondly, i need to buy my SINS CHOCOLATES at Millinium Walk. Set off shopping with my mom at 12noon & the clock starts ticking... 5hr 59mins to go...

1st stop: Body Shop at Suntec. Mom says that she would like to get some nice toiletries for my sister, thot body shop would be nice in the end... haha... turn out to be crap. haha... they have these nice gift sets, unfortunately some of the stuff inside are kind of redundent. Like perfume body lotions... haha... maybe it's becoz i dun really need them lah. Anyway i wanted to mix & match my own unfortunately they dun have the large bottle for body wash & shapoo. Damn... Haha... So forget it, body shop is out, try my luck elsewhere. Next stop: ~H20~!

Woah... Surprisingly they are well stock up here, u get from hand care products to facial wash to shower gels & shampoo. Hee hEe... or maybe the rest of singapore are too cheapskate, haha... expensive stores always seem to have everything! haha... Coz everyone too stingy to buy them as gifts! haha... Anyway got my sister a large bottle of shower gel, shampoo & a tube of body scrub. Cost $100! haha... lucky got my mom to share with me! half half! haha... My mom also got me a set of mint spa set. Got body wash, scrubs, shampoo, conditioner & some fitness cream, dunnoe what the hell is that. haha... but i like it anyway... hee hee... cost $50 lei!! Anyway with the stuff i bought, it earned me a membership card! haha... now i think i'm starting to become a girl already! haha... shopping feels great right! haha... Retail therapy! haha... no wonder gals love shopping. Think i need lots of it already! haha...

Next Destination: Marina Square, SaSa, I got Jack my Favourite Brand of Facial care products- ZirH! haha... just love those metal bottles & tubes! Anyway i got jack a bottle of the face wash, haha... sign on already sure need to go outfield more, need to wash face more already like that & hear from Jiaying that jack doesn't uses those supermarket kind already. Haha... think this gift would suit him well. Err... i hope! haha... Oh speaking of Outfield, i just return from a 4 days outfield with a massive breakout. Got a shock of my life when i look in the mirror, dunnoe when was the last time i saw so much pimples on my face. 14yr old, 15 yr old? Damn bloody NS ruin my face!

Lunch time i brought my mom to the foodcourt upstairs, ordered us some roast duck, roast pork & char siew set & watercrest soup for 2 from this famous roast meat store over there! It's damn nice ok, always got a long queue. Anyway this is my second time here & i didn't notice the foodcourt has window seats & open air seats facing the marina promanade. By day, the view was already breathtaking, can't imagine at night. haha... now i found a budget place for couples. haha... Reservations not need, but u do have to move quickly so as to snatch the seats from others! Muahahaha....

Final Stop, SINS Chocolates at Millinium walk, got the 3 Gan Sisters a box of 24 liquor chocolates. haha... That makes 8 pieces per person! Hope they like them! Coz i sure wish someone would get me a box too! I love chocolates, pralines, truffles & all! *Slurp!* Oh someone get me some chocolates for christmas please!! Alright! 4pm, shopping's all done! Earlier than i expected. Time to go home & wait for phone call but not before accompanying mom to Fu Lu Shou Complex to get something & some dog /cat food from balastier & novena square. Koups & Mao Mi food are running low & my sis didn't get any.

Tada!! 6:30pm jiahui called! But wah... she crazy ah, wants me to get down orchard in less than 15 mins time, haha... but luckily still made it, my uncle was around to fetch me to orchard! Anyway even i was late it doesn't matter lah. When i reached jack was busy getting a new phone, the new O2 Atoms! hohoho... my eyes almost poped out. He got one without contract. a madness $1278. haha... But what do u expect from a army regular. haha... U give your life they give u cash. Lots of money to throw! haha... But frankly it looks quite cool, very very impressive! Think by just flashing it out at a club or somewhere the gals would flock to u already! Hell... Guys too in that case! haha...

Took a bus to floris place after which desmund drove us to our outing destination, the singapore zoo- Night safari! YaY!! CS drove there by himself to meet us. Spend almost 15mins there trying to decide whether we should get the ticket with the tram ride or without. The tram ride u'll get to see more attraction! Anyway after the entire thing whether with or without the tram ride it doesn't matter. The night was so damn dark & the tram was bloody moving the entire time, we can see a fuck thing! camera doesn't work either, no flash photography allow & the tram is moving all the time, increase exposures, slow shutter speed & night mode couldn't take a decent picture when the tram keep moving! Bloody trees block the view most of the time. But do u know what's the worst? The monotonous tour guide topped the list. His blood voice almost made me waste my $28 ticket. Almost fell asleep! "And... Now on your right... is the..................." Is your mother chee bye lah! haha... Shut the fuck up!

Hmmm... nevertheless, i did somehow managed to enjoy myself, haha... making crappy jokes of the animals & the monotonous tour guide. But jack wasn't very happy though... dunnoe what was wrong. Kept quiet the whole night, Tried to chat him out of it but it's quite useless lah, in the end we just let him be, well... though i could try something to make him lighten up, but in the end i felt more awkward. Guess when jack is pissed, he's pissed. Evacuate & save yourself is a better option or risk getting caught in a volcanic erruption & it ain't pretty. We've seen it we know. Dun interrupt the course of nature & everything will turn out well in time. Trees will grow back, flowers will bloom & life will return! haha...
Now with 2 cars, we head down to some "zhi char" store at upper thompson for supper, fill some hungry stomach then head for home. Desmund drove floris home, while i stayed nearby so i got a lift. Jiahui & jack got a lift from CS. 3am... and i'm dead beat! collaspes on my bed & fell asleep. So much for 1 day! End of story & Merry Christmas!

Oh my god!! i'm so dead tired!!

i dunnoe why but i feel complete drained & worn out today, even though there was nothing to do. Just some minor ATEC stage 1 brief & some preparation for the christmas celebration. I had to say something about our ex OC, Cpt Jeremy Lee, so i've got some writing to do in the afternoon. Either than that, i just slept the whole afternoon away, from 1 to 3... could hardly peal myself off the bed! Woke up cursing & swearing all the way to the ATEC brief!
By the way, who the fuck put my name for the ATEC stage 1! C C B...! I'm supposed to be clearing my leave next week, i still have COS duty next week! Plus one ATEC stage 1 now, i won't be able to clear this year's leave. So what if u return me as off-days next year? If it's already so hard to go on leave, how much more do u think my chances of going for off-days are? Thank u all so much!

Maybe why i'm so drained & so pissed might be the fact that i've just returned from a 4 days outfield as 3rd Coy Enemy Admin party together with Foo JiKun, Ah Neo & Kenn Chng. One hell of a job, organise stores, collect stores, distribute stores, pack & distribute breakfast, lunch, dinner. Some more have to be some "K+something" enemy reserve on wheels. Fucking can't even get a peaceful night sleep! OMG... i going to collapse on my table now! Thankfully today got Damien to drive us out of camp to Bedok MRT station & Kenn Chng to share cab with me & jason ong from there to harbourfront NEL station. Jason ong then accompany me all the way on the train back home. Hee... lucky he had to pick up something from my place if not i think i'll have problem keeping awake.
So thank u guys for making it possible that i dun have to spend the night in camp, or worst... at a bus stop somewhere... haha...

On the way back i had a serious guy to guy talk with jason ong. ha ha... yah yah, not talking crap for once. Mainly on relationship. Tell me something, why is it that everytime when we guys wanna commit, gals wouldn't and when we decide not to, we would be labelled as bastard, toying with their feeling? Personnally i really really tired of all these, i'm now giving myself a break from all these relationship stuff.
I mean i would love to have that "fall in love" type of feeling again, but too many events these past 2 yrs in NS has made me go against that thought. I dun wanna go into details, lets just say for me, during some of my most difficult moments, my so called "love interest" will be nowhere in sight. Not to mention some gal pals have gone MIA as well. Well... Either it means that i'm really a fucked up person, which i think i''m not or many gals doesn't have what it take to build a strong & loving relationship. Things like preserverance, determination, patients & love. Of coz there are gals out there who have all these, but they are in the arms of some lucky guys out there, i'm just not one of those guys coz one thing for sure, luck has never been on my side. What i have, what i'm, is true hard work, sheer will & determination. Good Qualities, but u can't use them on gals, they would call the police & label u a stalker!
Ha ha... Or u can just simply put it, i'm just plain damn "suay", not destined to fall in love, true love will not exist for me.
Yah yah... sure sure many of u will think i'm a loser, i'm must be damn fugly (fucking ugly) or damn fucked up to say such things. In that case too many of my camp mate shared the same fate as me. If singapore's cream of the crop fugly losers, i can't imagine the rest of the male population.

Like shoot some pool, playing bowling, shopping, eating, going out with friends, watch movies, rent DVDs. ha ha... And fund my "love" of 5 yrs, Canoeing. Ha ha... paddles are not cheap u know!

$535.90 left & 23 MoRe DaYs to NeXt PaYdaE...

OMG... think i would be broke even before next payday. This christmas would most prob make me look like a miser. But it really can't be helped. The army doesn't pay me enough for me to spend lavishly. Think about it, the pay is still the same 5 yrs back, but the cost of living has increased. So how far do u think my dollar can stretch? Well... as usual, those people working in high up places either are too stupid or are too rich to notice poor people do exist. Well in the end it still boils down to simple physics; the higher u wanna go, the lesser brain mass u must have inorder to make space for hot air.
If u're really rich, u could pump helium into your head, it'll make u rise faster & higher! haha... Idiots!
Anyhow, since it's christmas & i love my friends i would still try to get something for u guys ok? but no promises, but confirm i would get my Detechment guys something, i owed them much for without them i might never had made it. Hee... but it may end up each of u all take 1 piece of chocolate! haha... well... at least better than nothing right? It's the thots that count right? hee...

Yawn... i really tired, woke up at 7am to watch finish the 3 DVD i've rented last night & i add some more things to my blog for the rest of the day, it now has a "Wish List" section! ha ha... Ta da! Now u guys know what to buy for me for christmas! Yay! Thanks guys! ha ha...
Anyway one of the movie i rented was quite inspiring, it's call "ice princess", it's about this physics geek gal who has to choose between a harvard university scholarship & a shot to chase her dreams as a competitive figure skater. Choosing the later means having to cope with studies & skating practices & on top of that taking on part time job to fund her figure skating dreams. Quite a heart warmer. Ha ha... Something for us poor sportsmen to relate to. like i said before, "Dreams are built on $$"...

3 Days ago while me, neo & foo were acompanying Kenn Chng to shop for his new hp, we came across the cool & sophisticated SAMSUNG D600! Sleek & black weighing at only 103g, with 2 Megapixel camera, bluetooth, MP3 player, 3D speakers, Document Viewer, Expandable memory & 73MB of USER MEMORY!! Utimate Performance phone!! Looks so "me", so macho!! haha... ok ok relax, dun punch up your monitor! haha...
Anyway it's $800 plus with a 2 yr plan, ha ha... most prob if i starve the entire next month i could buy one before CNY. ha ha... but me & mr Foo JiKun decided it's better to wait for the price to fall. But what the heck, why buy something everyone else can afford? it'll be like "Oh wow... u have the same phone as me!! & u too!! & u too!! &....." and the list goes on. ha ha... how original.

Anyway on the way back camp we couldn't get cab. What's with taxi drivers these days? Business are waiting by the side of the road but they rather not pick them up, instead they rather drive around waiting for "on call" or drive to a shopping mall coz it's easier to pick up passengers. What's with the peak hour surcharge as well, does driving around for 20mins waiting for the peak hour surcharge to come into effect justify the extra $1 earn per trip? By my calculation, if u pick u a passenger & travels for 20mins, it would earn u more than driving around without a passenger. Definately would earn u more than the extra $1 surcharge.

People say business is poor recently, they have to work hard to make ends meet. But truely, after i see how many people run their business, it's not hard to imagine why they are doing poorly. It's not how hard u work, but how u work. Many just concentrate on making money & not give a damn about their attitude & services. In the past u could well do that, where only u could provide the services, so u could choose whether u wanna sell or not. But not now, competition is intense. U need to listens to the customers needs, learn new skills, give that extra personal touch but yet sometimes, all it takes is a smile to win over a customer / client from the other competitiors. It's not that hard as compared to working hard, slogging away right? That's of coz if u have poor human relation skills.

One Week Has Passed...

It has been one week since i last log in & so many events has unfold almost in a flash. What has happened this morning feels as if it were yesterday & those in the past few days felt as if it were yesterday, last week, last month. Time seems to past very fast while u were busiest.
Well let us recap the entire week starting Sunday, 11 Nov 2005.

Sunday, 11 Dec 2005.
After posting my blog entry, i went to sleep at 3am, woke up at 6am to support my team for the 22km canoeing marathon. Didn't really start off the day really well, i took a cab around 7am, unfortunately, the cab driver doesn't really have the faintest idea where Pasir Ris Sea Sport Club is & i ended up having to direct him. What the heck he can't even get onto the PIE from my place. It really facinates me what kind of people now are becoming cabbies. Can't even find their way onto major expressways. Anyway in the end he still took me for a joy ride round tampines, only manage to get to the right place after i insisted he take a look at the street directory. Still keep insisting he's driving the right ways. HaiZ... Sometime some people will never get it. I didn't get worked up doesn't mean i do not know what's going on & sure as hell, doesn't mean i'm in the wrong.

Managed to get there by 7:30am, in time to see them prep for race. hmmm... some how i felt i'm not really welcome by some people, nevertheless, what excaptain would i be if i won't there to support. i'm not racing doesn't mean i can't support! (hee hee... yah yah... thanks ah Lex! Better remember to submit my entry next year if not i train for nothing again lei!... haha... :p) "Brother" Jack & Jiahui & Jiamin came down to support Jiaying, Eva & gang. Haha... think they have better reception than me! Race starts at 9am! From my point of view, i thot that everyone has a good start although in the end many disagree. hmm... Anyway, me, Jack, Jiahui & Jiamin went White Sands for breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast. Since the race is aready underway, it'll at least be 1hr 50mins before the 1st boat comes in. We got back way before that.

Junsheng was the 1st from NACC to cross the finishing line. For the gals, Jiaying was NACC's 1st to cross the finishing line both in the T1 event. Really congratulate them! Ha ha... but jiaying got 3rd placing for her catagory! not bad lei! reminds me of my race 2 yr back. i got 3rd too. ha ha... but guess no one's interested in that anymore. Anyway i owe Jiaying a treat to either Hagen daz or Swenson ice scream. Made a bet that she could make it to top 5! haha... looks like she did better than expected! Well dome lah Jiaying! YaY!

Hmmm... sometimes i really feel like quiting canoeing, i feel that my time here is up, its time to move on. I've my share of victories, in fact i think i'm one of those that has had the most medals. maybe i've really taken enough & it's time to give back to the younger generations. don't u think so? ha ha... Dreams of national squad? ha ha... tell me what dreams are really made of? I think it's made of time & money, while the other 50% is the hard work. Hard work only get u half the way, where u go from there depends on how much u are willing to pay & how much time u can spend. Equipment cost money, time cost money especially when u've to work. In singapore, our nation love to bath in the glory of it's successful atheletes but how much are they willing to invest? Our poor national hero have been giving "free ride" for far too long.

Start of 3 days out field, moved out in the afternoon, to be some "enemy" for 1st & 2nd coy. We moved out earlier than the 1st & 2nd coy to set up the objective for their so called "SR" to reccee. Ha Ha... personally i think they are no where near the standard as those from our batch but we'll let them have a try. Ha ha... As expected, they got spotted arond 5am the next day sneaking up on our objective. Went to chase them away.

Went to hunt them around 8am & at least for once they choose some place further away, ha ha... not bad, give it to them, we abondon the search at arond 9am.
Entire day, not a single soul appear. ha ha... good good... give us time to rest, relax & talk cock! ha ha...

0120hrs, 1st coy hit us, ha ha... it's a joke lah, everyone break in from the same point waiting to get chopped down become mince meat. Actually their mssion was a failure, we were told by the empire to give in to them as this was meant to be a confidence budding execise. THey even skipped the secondary objective, oh man... what a dissappointment! ha ha... didn't seem be happen to us last year. ha ha... Well that explains why my company is the best Op Coy! ha ha... We do not need people to give chance.

0400hrs 2nd coy attacked... opps... sorry Cpt Seah... we over killed your men! haha... We actually wanted to give u a walk over! ha ha... we present ourselves for your MG to gun us down, ha ha... We prefer 2nd coy to win lah! ha ha... unfortunately we a bit over enthu lah... ha ha..

YaY! Wed, 10am pack shop go back camp! Damn... i'm so worn out! didn't really sleep much, plus so much store & admin to do. 12 noon, got back, clean weapon, eat lunch, bathe & sleep!

YaY! Finally got my IPPT Gold today! Commando gold! 2.4 timing 9:05! ha ha... But got to thank a few people, like Foo JiKun, Jason Ong, Ah Neo & Ben Koh as well. Without your help today would most probably another one of the 20 something infantry gold i've taken. So near but yet so far hor! ha ha... but all that's over! Finally have my IPPT commando gold! ha ha... 1 less thing to worry about for ORD. Det 1 now has 11 IPPT golds! Must do your best ah Yalam! ha ha... never mind, we'll give u some "NOS" haha... U'll know what we mean soon! ha ha...

Book out at 10am to go to esplanade to play some game that 4 coy planned for the company outhing. hee heee... unfortunately it's not very interesting lah, so not many really participate. i should say the whole 3rd Coy? ha ha... Bad ah bad! ha ha... but no choice lah, sorry ah alvin yeoh, 3rd coy a bit pai kia one. But we did try to participate or at least have the thot lah... but out side got too many other more tempting stuff that your prize money & vouchers. hee hee...

5pm, game ended, wanted to watch King Kong, unfortunately Eng Wah Suntec only left 1st 3 row, u got to be crazy enough to sit so close to the screen! so took a damn crowded train from city hall to novena for my dinner (ALONE!! what's new?) & rent some DVD which up till now still haven't watch! Ha ha... Most prob finish this go watch liao!

Well... so much for 1 week, as i was coming home, many thots cross my mind. Really been a troubling week for me as well. Been thinking about too much things. Maybe it's the fact i may not have enough money for christmas & presents that's making me feel so fustrated. Maybe it's time to forgo some of my dreams & earn big money when i ORD. Time is now of essence, to choose between work & chasing dreams, i guess i've to choose work. Dreams cost money while work makes money!

To My Dearest NACC Sprinters:

I dun know how many of u all would get to read this, but these are my sincere thots for u guys that will linger as u all paddle stroke by stroke from the start to the finishing line. I'm gonna miss being by your sides for this race. But nevertheless i would like to see u guys win tomolo!
Tomolo would be a big day for all of u taking part in this round ubin long distance. It's not just a show of strengh & edurance, it's also a show of skill, judgement, teamwork & determination.
Look sharp, start alert throughout the race. Find gaps & open waters, it will give u less resistance. Watch for opportunity & watch for danger. Put power in paddling into the wind, the wind keep the boat straight & stable while your stroke give it power for speed. Concentrate on your stroke when paddling along the wind, boat runs faster but in exchange for handling & control. Proper stroke gives better direction control.
Remember your techniques, "ribbons", entry point, exit point, trunk twisting, punching forward, rhythm & counting. Keep your mind working, 2 hr is a long time in the sea & sun. Never let your mind drift. Focus!
To the one taking NP1, it's a good boat, good control & low resistance. I wish it'll bring u good luck as it has brought me much, i've performed & won my medals with that boat. To the one using my paddle, i hope it'll will help u perform, for it has never let me down.
As i look at u all from the side line i see many of u all have surpassed me, i'm proud of u guys! Do your best guys & do yourself proud! I'm sure u guys can make it! Maybe next year, soon, i'll join u guys for competition once again. Good luck guys!

YaWn...

Ok ok... THat's it, i'm really dead tired. Unfortunately my blog layout has yet to be completed. Went thru many other's blog & gave me plenty of ideas on how i shold change my blog layout. Anyway i just finish adding the next tag board so u guys can post something for me.

Anyway 2 days more to the 22k long dist kayaking competition, really wanna wish all the sprint canoeist good luck, although i can't be with u all, my heart is with u guys all the way. 2hr 15mins, come in before that time & u'll all win something! HaiZ... Dun forget me next time! I'm still puzzled how could u all left out my name! Thanx guys! : (
Haha... anyway forget it lah, next year just remember to sign me up! All the best ah guys, u'll trained hard now it's your time to perform, tomorrow just rest can already, prepare your mind & body for sunday's race. And nice work with the boats too... looked real shinny! they will serve u all well!

FOR HONOUR & GLORY~ At What Price?

Hmmmm... i certainly didn't thot of that when i went for my VA at commando 2 years back, but now, think i'm regretting it already. Now 3 months plus to ORD, i think i've lost more than i have gained. Poor, Fameless & girlfrendless, think there's not much else i can lose already.

I think the new slogan for the new commando advert should be like, Commando~ It's not what u can do, it's what u're willing to lose.

To be a commando;
i gave up my time,
burning weekends for exercise & clearing up stores (Stores!! i dun believe this shit!).
i gave up my dreams,
dreams of getting into the Canoeing National Team.
i gave up on relationships,
which gal whould want to spend to with someone who doesn't have time for himself.
i gave up on going out with my friends,
who would wanna meet someone who doesn't know what day or time he can book out.
i gave up on hope,
hope that things will turn out better, coz when one problem is solved another one comes.
i gave up on love,
coz there's no such thing anymore.
And soon, i'll give up on myself,
what's there to expect for yourself when your effort is just a collective effort & u won't be thank.

i only hope my ORD comes soon enough to snap me out of this miserable cycle. 3 more months!
Got to keep my shit together. I'm really going mad, not from the tough training but from wasting my time waiting for instructions which seems endless, yet trickling slowly to reach u. We could have multitasked, 40 men in 2 hours, yet they dispatch task slowly, one waiting up for another, becoming a 6 hours job.

So far, i never make appointment after book out, coz, either it'll be cancelled or i'll be very late where i must well go home. they play with your time, like a pet dog standing on it's hind legs, balancing hoping to reach the food dangling above him. So near but yet so far. They will not give u stores to clean & pack during the weekday but instead during the weekend where u're the most effective coz u need to book out, to meet your friends, your girlfriend, your family or just to rest your mind. That's why now i never meet anyone after bookout, i will never let my mental health be held hostage like before.

We look so good during NDP, but think about the price we paid... u think twice of joining one of us, unless everything in your world doesn't matter much to u.

YAh... I'm a S.C Marathon Finisher!! All 42.195km of it!!

haaahaa... feel so good! never felt this good for a long time! Not since i got into the army. hmmm... looks like many of our nation's males might have lead weak & boring lives if they were to proclaim NS was their defining moments! muahaha... Well maybe that's true since the most physically exhuasting activity they ever did was chasing after gals! muahaha... If not getting into a staring match since moving 5 steps towards each other is just too physically & mentally challenging. Sitting down & staring is much easier!
haha... i would say 70% of guys falls in this catogory! This figure is in accorance with the number of guys taking sports! ha ha... golf doesn't count! haha... (read: sports means taking your own equipment from start to end, not the caddie.) & chess doesn't count! (can't believe it's classified under sports! SEA Games somemore!) how often u seen a fat athelete? haha... at least i need not worry about heart attacks! haha...

I define sports as a dangerous but exciting activites, that places lives & limbs at risk! has the occassional blood sheds. haahaa... But at the end of it u feel satisfied & feel like u've achieve something.

Well so much for side tracking, now back to the marathon story! 1st of all i would like to congratulate all those who have finished the 42km marathon! Job well done no matter what timing! still a challenge anyway! Not many people could have done it. What the heck, not many people could have started it! Hell, the rest of singapore was still in bed when it started & guess they are still in bed when it ended! haha... Sleep & laze! haha... So "singaporean" haha... Well... who's to blame, over here u're either working or sleeping anything other than that u're not human! haha... that makes us sportsman supreme being! haha... "Bow before us lazy pigs!" haha...

Anyway the night before (sat night), Foo Ji Kun, Ah Neo & Man-flirt (Manfred, TJW haha...) came over my place to stay overnight since my place was the nearest to the venue. Pick them up from Novena MRT station at 6:30pm. Went for some "famous" sliced fish soup at novena (but it sucks lah actually! Thanks TJW for the suggestion! ha ha...), then went to rent some DVDs which in the end no one watch & i end up watching it by myself today. Came over arould 8:30pm & pester me to reveal some secrets! Damn... that's what u get when a bunch of guys get together alone at home!- they become picky, nosy little gals! ha ha... thank goodness i manage to endure thru all those pestering the whole entire night. Finally went for supper around 9pm. We must be crazy!

Supposingly we were to sleep by 10pm, ended up we only got to bed at 12mn. Well... not too bad if we had 4 hrs of uninterrupted sleep except that that didn't quite happen.
couldn't sleep till 1plus... after which TJW phone rang, some gal he met at Tm ask if we would like to go out with her, *siao*, Then 2plus Ah neo finally felt cold & had to find him a blanket. finally managed to get some sleep!
woke up at 4:30am... Dead beat & almost going to be late!! Our team meeting at 5:30am & we left the house at 5:15! haha... but luckily we made it in the end!

And so at 6 the run starts, i ran with damien, while foo, TJW & Ah Neo ran together. Me & Damien did pretty well for the 1st 10km, 1:05 hr actually. next 10km 1:08, starting to slow down. But after that, it was a crawl, damien developed cramps, think we did 1:45 for the 3rd 10km, i also start to have strain on my knees, but damien's cramps were really bad, on both legs! Think it really took him alot of mental strength to get it thru! Remaining distance we took nearly 2 hrs to run! ha ha... well... so the final timing... something like 5:59:59... haha... our projected time of under 6 hrs. haha... but what the heck... our timing should have been 4hrs plus. We're not really 6hrs finishers u know! ha ha... well, no luck this year try better the next! anyway must thank damien too, from training, clocking milage to the actual event dun think i'll be running without him! & magnum force too near the 37km point! haha... what a sight for sore eyes! Inspiration for sore legs too! haha...

Now my legs hurt like hell, but it feels good deep down inside! ha ha... what the hell... let do it next year all over again! Anyway i went to watch Aeon Flux during the evening. I couldn't get up when the show ended, my joints felt like they rusted! haha... then i look over on my right, 4 sits away a gal was having the same problem! haha... she was wearing the S.C Marathon addidas singlet. ha ha... looks like i'm not the only one having problems! haha...

Well... got to book in to camp now! yes today is monday night, i'm on leave today! for sacrificing my legs for the S.C Marathon! Hope the photos of the marathon will be ready on Marathon-Photos.com by the time i book out!
