Is money really that important in a relationship?
Only fools will say no and the hopeless trying in vain to find hope in their failure in love.
The fact is it does matter.
To many gals, they fail to realise a simple gesture may not that simple at all, they dun understand that there are people who capitalise on female willfulness and simple-mindedness. Their simple request to be pampered actually cost alot.
For example, flowers are cheap in itself, but once people realised there is a reason and important need for them, it becomes a business prospect.
Every gal wishes to have that sweet guy who will pick her up after work, with a bouquet of flowers in the back and bring her to somewhere "cheap-but-nice" place (*roll-eye* no one can ever fully comprehend the term "cheap" till they been thru army.) to have dinner.
Yeh... i can do that too. Would u like to ride at the back of my bicycle ie. Jay Chou style in the movie "SECRETS" with a bunch of landscape flowers pluck from roadside courtesy of NPark. Oh... I forget, my $10 in my pocket i could buy us 2 plate of chicken rice with chicken drumsticks and sugar cane drink. haha... How romantic.
Yah... Romantic as in China u would say! haha...
I mean although i could afford more than that now and could provide dear Cinderalla with all her lavish, but to know that i've won a gal heart this way it really disappoints me.
Gone are those sweet innocent school days of me taking the bus to the gal's place and bringing her out for dinner at the usual coffee shop, the long walk home holding hands and that spending time together doing nothing can actually be fun!
But now, only with money comes the opportunity. What is a knight in shinning armour without his horse and his armour same goes to what is a guy without his car and his fancy whatever...

Guy A drives while Guy B rides... rides a bicycle... hahaha...
Guy B to Gal: Would u like to go to some place nice for drinks?
Gal: Go where?
Guy B: how about that coffee joint near your place? U give me 15 mins and i'll be there, i'll take a cab down to pick u up at your place.
Gal: It's ok lah, some other time. Too troublesome for u liao. Anyway i also got work tomolo cannot stay out till too late.
Guy B: Ok, it's no problem, we'll meet out some other time.
No problem? YEAH RIGHT... THERE'S A FUCKING BIG PROBLEM.
10 mins later...
GUY A with a Honda FIT called.
GUY A to Gal: Hey anything on tonight?
Gal: Nothin...
GUY A: wanna go for coffee at that coffee joint near your place? I'll DRIVE over in 5 mins and pick u up.
Gal: But i cannot stay up till too late tomolo got work.
GUY A: Sure no problem, i'll send u back after coffee...
Gal: ok sure! See u in 5.
U see what i mean?
hahaha... yah yah yah... u can say it's nothing, the gal is just meeting the guy for a cup of coffee... but my point is Guy A managed to secure an outing with the gal, while Guy B will be stuck at home surfing the net and securing his nerd status.
That my friend, being able to secure an outing with the gal, guy A has won half the battle.
If things worked out, the gal will go about saying how sweet of "her" guy to come meet her just for a cup of coffee even when it's so late in the night and blah blah blah... I hear too much of this already. I really pity the guy B.
Anyway i always thot that guy B are some computer programmers or engineers. haha... In the end they made it in life, get that sporty new BMW 3 Series, that swanky condo apartment in Bukit Timah road and finally get a model gf in the end. haha... but as an ultimate revenge to gals, they write extremely female unfriendly programmes as payback! haha... Which explains why gals always have problem with computer.
Purposely make their life difficult, like how i overheard someone in crew room said she was not able to crop and resize photo using photoshop. haha... *Flip*
Maybe they have broken the female genatic code after all and found out what made them tick. haha...
But to be fair, there are still the handful of genuinely nice and sweet gals are there, which is why i've not given up on the female population entirely and believe that love does actually exist. Just only that it's hard to find.
