I choose my own life.
We all do. We choose the path we want to take. No one has the rights over our decisions, no one can affect our decision. Only whether we choose to listen or not.

What is truely the right thing to do? It is but how the world would like to view as socially acceptable. Yet what is socially acceptable but what many agree on. So what happens if what we agree on is actually wrong? We are all humans and it's our nature to faults, wrongs and make mistakes. So who are we to govern others to what is right or wrong.
When i was back in STC, a first aid instructor of mine like to "stimulate" our minds by throwing difficult medical emergency scenerios at us and force us to make on the spot decision. He will always rebuke our answers. Imagine Dr House and u will get the hint. But in the end he always say, "There is no right or wrong answers." Which is actually true, we can only react to the situation based on conditions and limitation. Whatever that ensures survival is the right thing to do.
Lets take another scenerio.
In our society, cannibalism is unacceptable and outcasted. But if that is the only thing to survive on, will u not? many will instantly say they will not because they have been craddled in bosoms of worldly comfort and safety and never once experence the desperation of this world.
Once i had a conversation with a good man who has been thrown into hell on earth. Where he seen fellow friends and comrades shot to bits with their heads blown apart. Stuck in a trench, starved, parched, tired and worned out for weeks, he took a knife and cut into his dead enemy and took a bite at his flesh.
This may sound grossly disgusting, but this is war, where your survival also ensure the survival of your country, your wife, your sons, your brothers, your sister, your parents, your grandparents, your friends and everything that u ever loved. Out there only u can protect them.
So who are we to be quick to judge, Man were never borned evil, but shaped by this world into what we are today and guess who shape this earth? - Us!
I realised, humans love to talk about righteousness, but in time of trouble there are never there, although they will still be somewhere talking about righteousness again and again. It's easy to say whatever u want when it's not your problem. It's a different story again when it is.
Anyway i hate the response people will give to the answer of "throw-your-mother-and-wife-into-the-sea-who-will-u-rescue" questions.
Those that choose to rescue their wife will end up being labelled a heartless bastard for abandoning the woman that has brought him up. Those that choose to rescue the mother will get labelled as a man who has no feeling and love for his wife. So what the fuck right?
But u know what is the ultimate answer? "i will swim out to rescue both my wife and mother even if it cost me my life."
I say fuck u to that.
These people have been craddled in safety and comfort and have been watching fucking too many movies.
U have never see the wrath of mother nature. Do not underestimate her. She can swallow Singapore in an instant if she wants to. The only reason why she has not is becoz countless people have been praying to Ti Gong, Tua Pek Gong, Buddha, Guan Yin, Allah, Jesus Christ and all the gods to prevent this from happening. Your heroic talks will drown u and whoever u want to rescue. U are already a hero if u can rescue just either one.
A real hero is one that understand the risk, and not needlessly throwing away his life. If he has to, it will always be for a greater good.
In battle, my life is worth a dozen men but not before i unleash hell, death, terror and destruction upon my enemies.
As for the mother and wife issue, i will rescue the one that has the greater chance of survival, there is no comparison of love for i love them both dearly. I will give my life if i really have to but what's the point if it would cause them grief for the the rest of their lives and they can never be with the one they love? And they will never have someone to take care of them anymore. The union of one pair is better than nothing at all.
People views are unrealistic to the struggle of this world, to give in is to live your life to how they imagine perfection to be. This world is never perfect. Perfection is to rescue both your mother and wife at the same time only to drown yourself in the process.
If u want to be perfect, dun ever talk about living your life to the fullest, coz your life expectancy would most likely be short.
Well... so much for my self thots. Been really troubled these day. But i also realised troubled people makes better writers. haha... Maybe it's because in our quest to seach for answer we search our inner self more.
Ha!
Anyway, i just returned back from Mumbai. Night flight in and out. Which is a good thing, haha... means more sleeping pax. It's also the amazing mosquito season. Once the aircraft door opened, swarms of mosquitoes flooded in. My god... A pax actually asked me where did all these mosquitoes come from. ha ha... In my heart i can't stop laughing, hur hur... where else... Anyway the mosquitoes are much bigger than singapores ones, so it's pretty obvious when they fly around.
After lunch, nobody else wanted to accompany me out of the hotel. So ended up me taking a cab alone out to shop. Want to go Linkin road to grab some books for our dear Wendy, unfortunately the bloody cab driver doesn't know where the hell is the bookstore. So we went Johoo instead, not before arguing with him about increasing the fare price.
Siao ah! just a 10mins drive away he wanted to add 100rp to the 300rp cab fare. 300rp is about S$11. Usual single trip cab cost about 100rp but i've ask him to wait for me while i do my shopping so it cost more. NA BEI... and he keep bring me to all the souvenir shops.
The thing is that for every item i purchased at the souvenir shop he'll get a commission. I fucked him ah... Keep bringing me to all these shops. The items there are not cheap too. Na bei... In the end he gave up and brought me to where i wanted to go.
Anyway Johoo has a not bad shopping center. What's the name of the shopping center i dunnoe lah, but it has a cineplex too. It's one of the "wow" type of places in Mumbai. They have an amazingly beach there too. I mean, it's nothing compare to Malé in the Maldives lah, but consider the location, it's not bad already.
If u would like to go there tell the cab driver to go to Johoo, PeeVia Theater. The cab driver will know where to bring u.
Finally gotten the books for Wendy as well as some for myself. Headed back to the hotel, but not before the cab driver started the process of bring me to the souvenir shops again and me argueing with him about that.
Reached back to the hotel 3 hours before call time. Pack my stuff and went to sleep. Ended up operating the flight back with only 2 hours of sleep. But luckily the flight was past midnight so still survivable. haha...
